MOORE'S DOCU PREMIERES AT LINCOLN CENTER


NEW YORK -- Starry Night principals Michael Shulman and Craig Saavedra attended the Lincoln Center's premiere of Michael Moore's CAPITALISM: A LOVE STORY. Shulman serves on the board of the Film Society of Lincoln Center's NEW WAVE program.  The screening was followed by a Q&A with the film's director, after which the invitation-only crowd piled into chartered buses to be whisked away to the downtown after-party hosted by Esquire Magazine. Boldfaced names in attendance were Wallace Shawn, Morgan Spurlock, Mario Batali and Doug Liman.

SNE ATTENDS "AMADEUS" GALA IN LONDON


LONDON -- The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences hosted a 25th anniversary gala presentation of "Amadeus" at the Soho Hotel Screening Room in London followed by a reception in the hotel's exclusive Crimson Bar. In attendance for the event were the film's Oscar winning writer Sir Peter Shaffer and two-time Oscar-winning director Milos Forman as well as other industry types including actress Sophie Winkleman, singer Bryan Adams, film historian Sir Christopher Frayling and Starry Night Entertainment principals Craig Saavedra and Michael Shulman.

SOHO HOUSE HOSTS "WHITE PEOPLE" OPENING NIGHT PARTY


NEW YORK -- The cast and crew of Starry Night's debut stage production, WHITE PEOPLE, gathered in the SoHo House's glitzy Library Bar after the opening night performance of JT Rogers's acclaimed play. Boldfaced names in attendance included Donna Murphy, Jean Doumanian, Craig Lucas, Andre Bishop, Daryl Roth and Jefferson Mays.

"WHITE PEOPLE" BEGINS PREVIEWS AT ATLANTIC STAGE 2


NEW YORK -- (From PLAYBILL) White People, J.T. Rogers' unflinching look at a big slice of the American population, makes its New York City premiere starting Jan. 28 in a production starring Rebecca Brooksher, Tony Award nominee John Dossett and Michael Shulman.

Starry Night Entertainment is producing the play, which was acclaimed in earlier regional presentations, including the world premiere by Philadelphia Theatre Company. Gus Reyes will direct the new production at Atlantic Stage 2 at 330 West 16th Street (this is not a production of Atlantic Theater Company). Opening night is Feb. 3 at 8 PM.
